  • Apotheca Flowers 24 Main Street Goffstown, NH, 03045 United States (map)

Please join me for a full day drawing for embroidery workshop on Sunday, September 30th hosted by Apotheca Flowers!

We will draw inspiration from the botanical specimens at Apotheca to create botanical sketches, which will then be translated into stitchable one-of-a-kind embroidery patterns. I will guide the drawing process, providing resources and inspiration images, while encouraging participants to embrace their own style and enjoy to intuitive process. After lunch, I will introduce participants to my favorite contemporary embroidery techniques through demonstrations and assist as necessary while participants work on their own individual projects.

All necessary materials will be provided including: A Field Notes Brand Sketchbook, Drawing Pencil, Black Pen, Tracing Paper, Wooden Embroidery Hoop, Piece of Cotton Fabric, Needle, Mini Storklette Thread Snips, DMC Embroidery Floss

Participants are also welcome to bring their own preferred drawing materials or fabric if desired. Keep in mind that we will be creating line drawings and the fabric should be a cotton or linen for best results.

While no drawing experience is necessary, drawing is a part of the process and participants should feel comfortable and confident creating sketches.
